Trying
Times
Well with the EPA totally screwed, deregulation on the way, and pipelines
already being constructed, it seems like Trump is on the road to destroying our
natural resources. The days of semi clean air and water are numbered, so go out
and enjoy it while you can. Only through collective resistance can positive
changes be made. Any and all suggestions for thwarting the efforts of Trump and
his team of climate change and global warming denialists are welcome on these
pages. Hopefully things will get better in the coming months but change will not
come unless we fight. |

Say
goodbye to the EPA
The EPA is being censored and systematically
dismantled. The decision to limit the regulatory power of
the EPA is morally and ethically wrong.

The EPA climate change data was copied and now resides
safely on this site. This data will be used as a benchmark
to ascertain the level at which Trump and his administration
will censor and hide this information from the American

Overview of
climate change science
Earth's climate is changing. Multiple lines of evidence show
changes in our weather, oceans, ecosystems, and more.
Natural causes alone cannot explain all of these changes.
Human activities are contributing to climate change,
primarily by releasing billions of tons of carbon dioxide
(CO2) and other heat-trapping gases, known as greenhouse
gases, into the atmosphere every year.

Picture - This map
summarizes the number of times each state has been affected
by weather and climate events over the past 30 years that
have resulted in more than a billion dollars in damages. The
Southeast has been affected by more billion-dollar disasters
than any other region. The primary disaster type for coastal
states such as Florida is hurricanes, while interior and
northern states in the region also experience sizeable
numbers of tornadoes and winter storms. |

Posts
The following posts are all about global warming and climate
change. The intent is to educate those of you who are unaware of
the science behind the claims. GLOBAL WARMING IS REAL, and
not a hoax, which the corporations, fuel companies, and the
uninformed would like you to believe.
For those of you doubting climate change, if you're wrong,
you condemn this planet to potentially irreversible changes,
which will affect all of us for generations. All this in the
name of money and profits. Really time for you climate
change denialists to rethink your positions and focus on
what is really important.

Posting
Rules
Before you post, let it be known I am all about the environment. An outdoor guy
who likes hiking, camping, and simply sitting and watching a beautiful sunrise
or sunset. I am a strong adherent of scientific research and empirical data, and
believe without a doubt, climate change and global warming are happening. This
is not to say I do not welcome those of you who do not believe humans are
causing irreparable damage to this planet. In fact, I implore you to post and I
relish the prospect of a good debate about a subject which I am very passionate
about. Keep in mind name calling is not allowed. Terms like tree hugger, robin,
greenie, ecobag, recyclopath,
hippie (um well this one is okay), environmentalust, etc. are NOT ALLOWED,
and yes your comments will be deleted, and you will be banned from posting on
this site. The point here is not to slam each other....plenty of other sites you
can visit for that....the purpose is to try and find solutions to problems which
are affecting us all. |
